新时期英语教师的素质
摘要：本文从多角度探讨了新课程改革背景下英语教师素质的定义、结构，影响英语教师素质发展的因素和新课程改革对提高英语教师素质的启示。通过分析认为教师的素质结构包括知识结构和能力结构。还讨论了影响素质发展的个人环境因素和社会环境因素。回答了教师应该具有什么样的素质以及教师怎样发展这些素质之类规范性、应然性问题。长期以来，我们关于教师的议论有着一方面是理想型教师论，另一方面是人才型教师论的双重结构。无论哪种议论，都欠缺的是作为“学习中的人”，作为“成长、发展中的人”的教师。本文则从多角度分析了教师应具有什么样的素质。本文还论述了多元文化教学的必要性和开展多元文化教学的方式和方法，促进英语教师多方面素质的全面发展。

The Qualifications of an
English Teacher In The New Era
          
Abstract: This paper aims to discuss teaching reform from different aspects. The definition and construction of qualifications of an English teacher in the new Era are covered in this paper. It expounds the inspiration which improves the qualifications of an English teacher in the new era. Compared with other paper, this paper analyzes what qualifications an English teacher should have and how to develop the qualifications of an English teacher in the new era. It also expounds the method of multiple-culture teaching.
