英语体育新闻的语言特色及翻译技巧
摘  要

体育，社会文明的标志，是人类社会文化生活不可缺少的组成部分。因此，世界各国对体育事业的发展都极为关注。特别是竞技体育，随着经济的发展和社会进步，愈来愈引起社会广泛的关注。关注体育新闻以逐渐成为一种新的大众娱乐。随着中国申奥的成功, 体育新闻报道已成为各个电视台的必播节。随之而来的是体育新闻翻译得到国内越来越多人的重视。体育新闻便也形成了自己的语言特点。由于体育新闻自身的语言特点, 英语体育新闻的翻译便具有了一定的特殊性, 需要相应的翻译技巧。汉英两种最具影响力的语言在体育新闻报道中也有各自独特的语言特征，而从体育新闻中理解相关的体育新闻的语言特色则更能从整体上把握体育新闻，更有利于人们更好的理解体育新闻和了解体育。同时，随着体育新闻的全球化，体育新闻的翻译也越来越重要。本文归纳分析了体育新闻的主要语言特色，并且提出了几种体育新闻的翻译技巧，以便更好的理解英语体育新闻，抓住读者的心理，做到既真实准确又生动活泼。

Linguistic Features and Translation Techniques of English Sports News
 
ABSTRACT

Sports，the sign of social civilization, is an indispensable part of our social and cultural life. Sports news，compared with other news style，is a special style of news. It has its own characteristics. It is popular, recreational, emotional and global. Therefore, the development of sports enjoys a universal attention, especially sports games. Today, the sports section often makes up one quarter of some daily newspapers. Millions upon millions of news are printed each year about sports. Enjoying sports news has become a new popular recreation. In the process of Olympic-bidding successfully, sports news has became a popular program, and the translation of English sports news has developed and drawn more attention of Chinese on such basis. The all-round grasp of the linguistic features of sports news will help people comprehend sports well. Meanwhile, with the globalization of sports news, it becomes more and more important. Based on lots of examples, this thesis analyzes the major linguistic features of sports news: military language applied to strengthen the competing ambience; various expressions for the same meaning; wit and humor, and draws out several translation techniques which are proved to be effective in English-Chinese translation of sports news.
