英语商务合同的文体特征及翻译
摘  要

合同是约定当事人权利义务的正式文件。合同英语在词汇和句法等方面具有鲜明的文体特征。充分了解合同英语的词汇、句法特征，不仅有助于更好地理解英文合同条文，更对英文合同的起草、翻译大有裨益。论文运用大量实例，从词汇、句法、语篇三个层面分析了英文商务合同的文体特征，尤以句式结构分析为重点。其中，在词汇方面主要特征是大量使用古体词、正式词、专业术语和并列词语等。在句法层面，主要关注合同英语中的名词、介词、冠词等优势词类，以及名词化、shall+动词、后置定语、副词短语和被动语态等普遍语法现象。语篇层面上则主要表现为词汇的前后一致性。作者认为，一篇好的商务合同翻译首先要忠实，不仅忠实于原文内容，而且要忠实于原文的文体特征。其次要通顺，符合译入语的表达习惯。因此，翻译方法应以直译为主。此外论文还主要探讨了如下几个方面的翻译技巧，包括：古体词语、科技术语、介词、冠词、名词化名词、shall的翻译、后置定语、副词短语和被动语态。
