摘  要

在这篇论文里,内容将主要集中在讨论商务函电的用词原则及其方法的分析上,这是基于全新的观念和方法之上的。商务函电用词的质量直接影响其整体质量以及其效果。文章指出,在开始写作之前,函电作者应该尽量考虑清楚它要面对的读者都有谁,他们希望看到什么样的信息。随着商务函电运用的不断广泛和作用的不断加强,分析用词风险,找对用词方法是十分必要的。商务函电所需要的语言是简明扼要,能够表达清楚作者的意思,传达给对方所需要的信息。运用合理的语言和友善的语气为前提,以不伤害对方为基础。为此,本文讨论了多种可能牵涉的用词失误,并根据商务函电当中词语的特色提供了基本原则和各个方面的用词技巧。这种方法基于用词过程的评价,利用对比举例和分析论证来发现问题的缺陷,之后给予读者解决问题的办法。

Analysis on Wording in English Business Correspondence
 
ABSTRACT

In this paper, the content will be concentrated on the wording principles in business correspondence and also the concerned analysis, which is based on completely new idea and methodologies. The quality of wording in business correspondence has a direct influence on the whole effect. This thesis is going to put forward that the writers of the correspondence should know who their readers are going to be and what information they do need to have. It is very necessary to discover diversified methodologies for wording as the application and function of business correspondence keep growing. The language for business correspondence shall be brief to the point and effective to express the writer’s idea and also convey what the receiver needs. Surely, this is to be on the basis of respect and courtesy and not to hurt the other party. Thus a great number of possibly concerned wording mistakes will be analyzed, which are followed by the basic principle and detailed skills of wording. This method is based on analysis of the procession for wording and is to discover the problems by comparison and illustration, finally, the reader will find the way to deal with them.
