摘 要
国际体育交流在开拓新中国外交局面上有其重要的历史作用，在增进新中国同世界各国人民建立友好合作关系，广泛宣传新中国的建设成就和对外关系政策，配合外交斗争需要，打破外交僵局等方面做出了重要的贡献；根据国际形势、国际体育组织地位，举办奥运会和大型国际体育活动，对国家经济的提升，政治安定及民族的交流等方面都有重要促进作用。

Abstract
International Sports Exchange in opening up new situation of China's diplomacy has its important historical role in the promotion of new China with people all over the world to establish friendly and coopaerative relations， widely publicized the new China's achievements in construction and external relations policy， diplomatic struggle with the need to break Diplomatic impasse， and so make an important contribution to the international situation， the status of international sports organizations， IOC and organizing major international sports events， the country's economic improvement， political stability and national exchanges， and other aspects of the important role.
