Perspective of Skopos Theory 
Abstract: Films enrich our daily life and become a normal but important way for us to know more about the world as well as the foreign culture. And in this part, film subtitles play an important role.
Currently, Internet becomes the widest, fastest and most convenient way for us to reach foreign films. But due to the sharp increase of film subtitle demands, lots of fan sub teams come into being. This lead to all kinds of problems occurred in film subtitles made by fan sub teams. It brings great inconvenience to cultural exchange and audiences.
According to the different characteristics and limiting factors of the film subtitle, with the problems and shortages occurred in the former translation work, this thesis discusses the strategy and method of cultural factors in film subtitle translation under the direction of the Skopos Theory raised by Germany functional school theoretician Hans Vermeer. This thesis is divided into four chapters: The first part will introduce the purpose and significance of the research. The second part will introduce the theory background first. Then expatiate on the characteristics of film subtitles, its limiting factors, the current situation of film subtitle translation and the problems caused by the fan sub team in the procedure of translating. In the third part, some examples will be used to introduce documentary translation principle and instrumental translation principle of Nord. These will also combined with amplification and omission translation strategies to find a better and a more efficient way for translation.

摘要：电影丰富了我们的日常生活，是我们了解世界，了解外国文化的一种普遍而又重要的途径。而电影字幕在这过程中则扮演了一个非常重要的角色。
现阶段网络成为我们接触国外电影的一个最方便、最快捷、范围最广的渠道。而由于字幕需求量的激增，网络字幕组的大量出现使得网络渠道获得的电影字幕翻译存在着许多问题。这对于文化的传播及读者的观看都造成了极大的不便。
本文将根据电影字幕与其他问题不同的特点和制约因素，以及在以往的翻译过程中出现的问题与不足，在德国功能学派理论家维米尔的目的论指导下，探讨在电影翻译过程的翻译策略和方法。本文将在第一部分中先介绍理论背景。再在第二部分中阐述电影字幕翻译的特点、制约因素、翻译的现状、并分析网络字幕组制作的字幕中产生的问题。第三部分，通过一些例子介绍目的论指导下诺德的翻译策略—文献翻译策略和工具翻译策略，结合增译法与减译法，共同探讨更为准确及有效的翻译方法。
