发展广交会谈判中的有效商务英语


本文探讨在广交会谈判这个特定的语域中,如何发展行之有效的商务英语。作者首先从语言学的角度分析了商务英语在谈判中的作用与有效商务语言的特点;然后从语用学的角度探讨在谈判中如何发展行之有效的商务英语。对于在校大学生,大多数研究者只强调了掌握商务理论等学术性知识的必要,并没有对谈判这个特定领域的实践提出要求。中国与世界各国的商贸活动日益频繁,中国进出口商品交易会(广交会),为广大英语学习者提供了一个很好的锻炼平台。本文作者认为,只有把商务英语的理论知识和谈判实践相结合起来,才能使谈判顺利的进行下去,进而促进贸易的发展。

Abstract

This thesis aims to develop effective business English in the register of negotiation on China Import and Export Fair. From the aspect of linguistics, the author starts to analyze the role of business English in negotiation and illustrate the characteristics of effective business English. At the same time, the author concentrates on how to develop effective business English in negotiation by pragmatic strategies. As for English major students, with emphasis on foreign trade, we’d better use business English effectively through practice. The previous researches in this field focused on the academic results and did not point out that practice is very important for English learners, so the writer explores the approaches for developing the effective business English in practice. Trades between China and other countries are going up year by year. China Import and Export Fair is a big stage for trade and a good way to apply business English actively. Based on the academic strategies, and combined with practice, effective business English has a great bearing in negotiation which influences economic interests of the parties concerned.
