外贸英语口语的特点及在谈判领域中的运用


近年来,随着国际贸易活动的增加,外贸英语口语在商务谈判中起到越来越重要的作用。外贸英语口语作为特殊用途的英语在长期的是实践中形成了自己的独特的特点。
迄今为止,大部分学者研究了外贸英语书面语的特点,忽视了外贸英语口语的特点以及在谈判领域的运用。本文系统地从用词、句法的角度阐述了外贸英语口语的特点,并结合这些语言特点,探讨了其在谈判领域的运用。它关系到外贸业务关系建立的好与坏,久与暂和一笔交易的成与败、赢与亏。为此,谈判中我们讲究礼貌、模糊用语、委婉句、措辞的运用。
本文通过对分析和研究外贸英语口语特点及在谈判中的运用,以帮助外贸谈判人员减少语言失误,提高语言技巧,达成交易。

Abstract
In recent years, with the massive expansion of international foreign trade, oral English in foreign trade is playing a more and more important role in business negotiation. Being regarded as English for specific purpose, oral English in foreign trade has formed its unique characteristics in its long practice.
So far, most scholars have surveyed the characteristics of written English in foreign trade, neglecting the characteristics of oral English in foreign trade and its application in negotiation. This thesis intends to analyze the characteristics of oral English in foreign trade from wording, sentences and probes into the application in negotiation. A good command of these characteristics and application in negotiation will benefit the establishment of foreign trade relations and conclusion of deals. Thus in negotiation, we should pay attention to the usage of politeness, ambiguous language, euphemistic sentence diction.
 Through analysis and research of characteristics of oral English in foreign trade and application in negotiation, the paper is to help the negotiators to reduce language mistakes, improve the language techniques, thus concluding deals.
