旅游景区名称翻译新探—以丝绸之路申遗成功为背景

如今，中国已经成为发展中国家中的超级大国,中国的国际化有着不可阻挡的发展趋势。在此情境下，越来越多的外国人来中国观光旅游，因而景点名称的翻译显得越发重要。然而，调查和研究发现，包括西安在内的景点名称翻译的现状并不令人乐观。本文主要以丝绸之路申遗成功为背景探讨景点名称翻译存在的不规范问题，并针对这些问题提出相关的翻译原则和方法，希望通过提高景点名称的翻译质量促进中国旅游业的发展。

A Probe into the Translation of Names of Scenic Spots
——Taking the Silk Road as the Background

Abstract
     
     Nowadays, China has become a super developing country and is fast heading into the world. In this situation, more and more foreigners come to China for sightseeing and the translation of names of scenic spots is becoming increasingly important. However, researches reveal that the present situation of the translation of names of scenic spots, Xi’an in particular, is far from satisfaction. By taking the Silk Road as the background, the paper focuses on the analysis of the existing problems with the translation of names of scenic spots , in the hope of improving the quality of the translation, thus promoting the development of China’s tourism.
