如何在小学英语教学中有效使用自然拼读法


    随着世界的不断发展,人们对于英语学习的需求也在不断的增加,正是由于认识到了英语的重要性,中国教育部在2001年降低了儿童开始学习英语的年龄,并且要求小学三年级开始把英语作为必修课程进行教学。但是,小学英语教学中存在着很多问题,大部分学生在拼写,阅读,单词拼写方面存在着困难。在这一背景下,拼读法作为一种通过培养学习者的语音意识从而进行阅读和写作教学的教学方法近年来被引入中国的小学英语教学中。语音,词形和意义的分类是目前小学英语教学中出现的主要问题。拼读法的目标在于通过按照音节分读,并混合声音拼写模式方法使初学者对新词进行拼读。作为一种西式教学法,拼读法将面临来自中国传统教学方式的挑战。作者的论文题目就是“如何在小学英语教学中有效使用自然拼读法”。作者从定义,拼读规则,实际应用和应注意的问题四个方面来阐述拼读法将成为会给中国英语教学带来变革的新趋势。

How to Effectively Use the Phonics in Primary Teaching

Abstract

With the rapid development of our world, there is an urgent need to learn English for people living in this global village. Seeing the importance of English, the Ministry of Education in China lowered the age as to when students should begin learning English and required primary schools to include English as a compulsory subject starting at Grade 3 in 2001. But there are many problems in primary school English teaching. Most students encounter great difficulty in spelling, reading and memorizing English words. The division of sound, form and meaning is a problem in current English teaching of primary school. Under this circumstance, the Phonics, as a method for teaching reading and writing the English language by developing learner’s phonemic awareness, is introduced to Chinese primary school in recent years. The goal of phonics is to enable beginning readers to decode new written words by sounding them out in phonics terms, blending the sound-spelling patterns. As a western kind of teaching method, it comes across challenges from Chinese traditional teaching method. “How to use it effectively in primary teaching” is the author’s topic in this thesis. The author, relating the article from four parts: introduction, theory, problems and its solution and points worth noting, states the PTM will be a trend which will cause transform of Chinese English teaching.
