从《老友记》和《爱情公寓》看中西方人际关系的异同
人际关系的差异作为多元化文化的主体，不仅体现特殊的文化背景，而且对人们的思维和行为起到了决定性的作用。美国情景《老友记》在播出期间受到了人们的青睐，和美剧相像的中国情景剧《爱情公寓》最近在中国也热播。本篇论文首先介绍了老友记和爱情公寓的主要人物和故事梗概，然后对两部剧在人物设定和剧情设定的相似之处进行对比。在论文的第四部分，本篇论文分析中西方人际关系的不同，重点分析中西方亲情观、爱情观、友情观的不同。接下来，分析个人主义与集体主义，思维方式以及历史背景对人际关系差异的影响作用。最后，综述在当今这个现代化全球化的社会中，对中美文化人际关系差异的研究有许多现实意义。通过对老友记和爱情公寓的对比研究，旨在帮助读者认识到中西方人际关系的差异，同时也深刻意识到跨文化交际中的文化冲突和文化影响。其次，期望帮助读者能够更加从容的面对文化冲突，更好地解决文化障碍，达到中西方之间更有效的沟通。

A Study of the Interpersonal Relationship Differences between China and Western Countries from Friends and iPartment
Abstract
Interpersonal relationship value differences are one of the cultural diversities that represents the core of culture, and it have a decisive influence on the behavior and thinking of people. Friends received positive reviews throughout its run, becoming one of the most popular sitcoms of all time. The Friends-inspired Chinese sitcom iPartment also gains popularity in China in recent years. This paper firstly conducts a brief introduction to Friends and iPartment in the aspects of the main characters and the story line. Then the similarities in character creations and plots between Friends and iPartment have been compared. In forth part, the author focuses on the comparative analysis of the interpersonal relationship differences between western countries and China, analyzing their differences in concepts of family, outlook of friend and attitude towards love. Meanwhile, this paper puts forward three reasons which lead to the differences, including individualism and collectivism, different thinking patterns and different historical backgrounds. The study may help the reader recognize the interpersonal relationship differences between China and western countries, and acquire a further insight in culture shock and gaps in the cultural communication. What’s more, the study aims to help the reader cope with the cultural problems more leisurely, communicate more smoothly, and remove cultural barriers more easily.
