中西文化差异对英语习语翻译的重要影响

    英语习语是语言的重要组成部分，具有浓厚的文化色彩和形象性，包含着大量的文化特征。如何在中西文化差异的背景下做好英语习语翻译一直是令大多数翻译者感到棘手的问题。为了更深入的了解中西文化差异背景下英语习语翻译的情况，以便提高英语习语翻译的精准性，笔者通过对中西文化差异的对比，阐明了中西文化差异对英语习语翻译的重要影响，并提出了相应的英语习语的翻译方法。

     Abstract
   
    English idioms, with strong cultural color and iconicity, play an important part in language, containing a large number of cultural characteristics. How to do translate English idioms well under the background of cultural differences between Chinese and English has been the most difficult problem. In order to have a better understanding of the situation of English idioms translation under the background of cultural differences between Chinese and English so as to improve the precision of English idioms translation. Through the comparison of the cultural differences between Chinese and English, the author mainly deal with the important influence of cultural differences on the translation of English idioms and put forward some relevant translation methods.
