公共场所警示语英译的问题与对策

随着国际交流的促进，越来越多的外国朋友到中国来旅游，公共场所警示语在交流过程中扮演着非常重要的作用。可以说，警示语是一个城市的名片。然而，外国友人对公共场所警示语英译版本的误解和嘲笑现象时有发生。原因是很多警示语的英译版本出现了很多不同的误译现象。公共场所警示语的误译反映了中国的翻译水平还有待提升。我们应该正确的看待这一普遍的现象，从自己身上找原因，逐渐减少误译现象的发生。本篇文章主要是就这些已有的警示语英译版本中出现的几个共同错误进行分析，然后就这些问题提出相应的解决对策。

Abstract
 
With the increasing international communication and more and more foreigners travelling to China, warning public signs play a very important role in our daily life. It is widely accepted that warning public sign is a calling card of a city.  However, the phenomena that foreigners misunderstand these warning public signs and make fun of them always happen for there are some different mistranslation problems. There is still room for Chinese translators to improve in translation field. We should treat the mistranslated phenomena as normal, and find the causes from ourselves to reduce mistranslation problems. The article will analyze some common mistakes of English translation versions of warning public signs and present some countermeasures to solve these problems.
