机器翻译与人工翻译的比较---以张运宏的《父亲的年节》为例

翻译在世界经济文化交往中扮演着重要角色。翻译分为机器翻译和人工翻译。近几年，形形色色的翻译软件层出不穷，其功能越来越多，质量越来越好，人们对它的需求和依赖度也越来越大。越来越多的人宁愿选择可信度较高的翻译软件来翻译一些专业文本，而不愿找专业的翻译人员来进行翻译。该论文的目的是通过比较机器翻译与人工翻译的优缺点，提出正确对待两者的方法，从而使两者优点得到最大化发挥，提高翻译的效率及正确率。本文作者主要采取的手段是对比与分析。论文第二部分，以张运宏的《父亲的年节》为实例，从各方面具体分析机器翻译存在的优点和缺点，然后与人工翻译相比较，进一步得出机器翻译相对于人工翻译存在的优点以及人工翻译所存在的不可替代性，从而提出面对机器翻译和人工翻译共存的现状，我们应有的态度以及该采取的措施。本文作者最后提出的结论是：机器翻译和人工翻译各有各的优势和劣势，它们不可能被对方所取代。我们不能仅仅从单方面去评判它们的好坏，而应该全方面综合考虑，充分利用机器翻译和人工翻译各自的优点来提高翻译效率和质量。

A Comparison between Machine Translation and Human Translation--- A Case Study on My Father’s New Year Festival Written by Zhang Yunhong

Abstract: Translation plays a key role in modern society. It can be divided into Machine Translation and Human Translation.With the development of the Internet, there are more and more translation softwares which have various functions and a better quality. People nowadays depend more on these softwares. Without Machine Translation, people had to translate by themselves. After ninety’s, with the renewal of the computer, Machine Translation also entered a period of vigorous development. In some developed countries, such as Japan and some European and American countries, Machine Translation is not only used in word processing, but also developing in the direction of intelligent automatic translation communication technology. The author of this paper takes the article of “ My Father’s New Year Festival ” written by Zhang Yunhong as an example. She analyzes the merits and demerits of Machine Translation, and then makes a comparison between Machine Translation and Human Translation. Furthermore, the author proves the irreplaceability of Human Translation. Finally, the author will come up with the attitudes and measures we should take to Machine Translation and Human Translation according to the current situation and future developments. The method the author uses is to refer to all kinds of references and cite some useful opinions of other people. Finally, the author draws a conclusion that both Machine Translation and Human Translation have their own advantages and disadvantages. We cannot evaluate them just on one side. We should have an overall consideration and analyze their advantages and disadvantages reasonably. Finally, we should try to make full use of their advantages, and improve the efficiency and quality of translation. I believe MT and HT are both significant, and neither of them can replace the other.
