论成人英语教学的特点-以商务英语教学为例

在和平与发展成为当代世界主题的大背景下，中国全方面与世界接轨。在此过程中，商业领域的交流与沟通无所不在，而这也就使英语作为一种信息传递的工具，顺理成章地成为绝大多数成年人在职场必不可少一种技能。作者根据其在成人英语培训机构任教8年的经验，针对成年人在商务英语习得过程的各个环节进行分析，从而总结归纳出商务英语教学的特质。论文首先通过对学习商务英语这个群体的特点做出分析，并且将他们与普通学生进行比较来找出差异，然后，有针对性地提出有效的教学方法；最后，列举在教学过程中会遇到的潜在问题，并给予解决方案以供英语教学工作者参考。

Abstract
With peace and development having become the theme of the contemporary world, China is in connection with other nations in the world in many different areas. As a result, English as a way of communication has been employed as a very important tool by adults in business sections. Referring to his 8 years teaching experience in Adult English Training field, the author summarizes the features of Business English Training through analyzing the different sections in the course of language acquisition of adult learners. The research paper starts with analyzing the features of the learners themselves and followed by providing teaching ideas and methods. Finally the paper concludes that the potential barriers and problems might occur in the course of teaching with some corresponding solutions. The paper also aims to provide a theory base to support the teachers of Business English Training to carry out their work more efficiently and effectively.
