从钓鱼岛问题的相关报道解析时政要闻标题的翻译

随着中国和西方国家文化交流的日益加强，中国读者有更多的机会接触到英语国家原汁原味的新闻内容，无论是网络，报纸还是杂志。与此同时，生活节奏的不断加快，人们一条一条阅读报纸内容的时间越来越少。因此，新闻标题——新闻报道的窗口，尤其英汉新闻标题的翻译，越来越受到人们的关注。同时随着人们对钓鱼岛问题的越来越关注，本文以钓鱼岛相关报道作为切入点，进一步解析时政新闻的语言特点和翻译方法。
本文旨在从翻译学理论出发，结合具体实践研究如何更好地翻译时政新闻的标题。本文分三个部分进行论述。第一部分介绍新闻标题的定义、分类和作用。第二部分介绍新闻标题的词汇特点和语法特点。第三部分根据翻译理论结合具体实践探讨时政新闻标题翻译的翻译原则和翻译策略。

Translation of Current Political News Headlines
—— Taking Diaoyu Dao Issues for Example

Abstract

With the intercultural communication between China and western countries, Chinese readers have more and more access to authentic English news in the internet, newspapers and magazines. Meanwhile, since the pace of life has become faster and faster, people have not enough time to read news one by one and detail by detail. So the news headline, considered as the “window” of news, especially the English-to-Chinese translation, is drawing more and more attention. This thesis, taking Diaoyu Islands Issues for example, analyzes the linguistic features and then introduces the translation strategies of political news headlines in newspapers.
This paper tries to study how to translate political news headlines into Chinese based on the traditional translation theory. This thesis is made up of three parts. The first part introduces the definition, classification and functions of news headlines. The second part firstly introduces the lexical features and grammatical features of political news headlines. The last part then explores the translation methods and strategies of the translation of political news headlines.
