新课标背景下农村高中英语语音教学个案研究


随着全球化进程的不断推进,社会对外语学习者的口语能力的要求越来越高。然而,由于受应试教育和语言环境等因素的影响,“哑巴英语”在农村地区尤为突出。因此,如何解决学生的语音问题一直令很多老师感到棘手。为了更好地了解农村高中英语语音教学的情况,以便改进语音教学的方法,帮助学生打好语音基础。笔者结合在沾益三中的教学实习设计了调查问卷,并在沾益三中实习期间给高一(7)班的学生发了71份问卷。本文对71份调查问卷的结果进行了分析,其结果显示在新课标背景下农村高中英语语音教学仍存在很多不足。针对这些问题,笔者建议应该改变教师的传统观念,使用恰当的教学策略,创设真实的语言环境,提高教师的专业知识水平,充分利用多媒体。

  Abstract

With the advancement of globalization, the social demand for foreign language learners' oral English ability is higher and higher. The overview of current English teaching situation in China is exam-oriented teaching,which led to the “dumb English”, especially in rural areas because of the language environment and other factors. Therefore, how to improve English pronunciation of rural senior school students has been concerned by many English teachers. To get a better understanding of the current situation of senior English pronunciation teaching, the author designed a questionnaire during the author’s teaching practice in NO.3 Senior School of Zhanyi. Questionnaires have been sent out to seventy-one students of Class 7, Grade 10. The analysis of questionnaires’ results shows that there are still some shortcomings existed in English pronunciation teaching of senior schools under the background of the New English curriculum Standards. Faced on these problems, the author of this paper suggests that teachers should change their traditional ideas, use proper teaching strategies, create real language environment, improve teachers’ professional knowlege and make full use of the multimedia.
