The Problems and Counter Measures of the Application of TBLT in the Teaching of English at Senior High Schools
In this paper, the author reviews literature on the task-based teaching at home and abroad to understand the task-based teaching. Based on these theories, author analysis the current situation and existing problems of the task-based teaching in high schools. The author focuses on discussion and reflection of the task-designed, teachers, students, and evaluation system. Then, the author puts forward feasible suggestions: designing effective tasks; improving the quality of English teachers; reforming the assessment system; Consolidating a variety of teaching methods and so on. We need to do more efforts in order to build an efficient task-teaching mode and explore the most appropriate task-based teaching for Chinese situation, so that we teachers can made TBLT applied more reasonably and improve the quality of English teaching integrally.
