论沃尔玛公司的成功推销策略


沃尔玛百货有限公司是一家美国的世界性连锁企业,以营业额计算为全球最大的公司,其控股人为沃尔顿家族。总部位于美国阿肯色州的本顿维尔。沃尔玛主要涉足零售业,是世界上雇员最多的企业,连续三年在美国《财富》杂志全球500强企业中居首。所以不难看出零售业是一个国家经济的重要组成部分,它的发展趋势反映了社会经济的走势。沃尔玛公司从一个小零售商做到世界连锁企业,靠的就是成功的推销策略和优秀的管理方法,本文着重说明推销策略,以及给予国内零售商一些建议,这些建议仅仅是对于中国市场来说的,因为中国零售业发展速度很快,同时国际零售业巨头也正在加速进军中国市场,所以本土的零售业正在面临着巨大的挑战。

Abstract

Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. is a worldwide chain enterprise. In terms of turnover, it is one of the world’s largest companies. The holding man is Walton family, with its headquarters in Bentonville, Arkansas. Wal-Mart is mainly involved in retail, and is the enterprise that has the world’s most employees. For three consecutive years it is among the global top 500 enterprises in the United States Fortune magazine, so it is not difficult to see retailing is an important part of a country’s economy and its development trend reflects a country’s overall economic trends. Wal-Mart, from a small retailer, becomes chain enterprise in the world. It depends on successful marketing strategy and good management methods. This paper mainly shows marketing strategy, and gives some advice for domestic retailers, especially favorable to Chinese market, because Chinas retail industry develops very fast and the international retail giant are accelerating into the Chinese market at the same time. Local retail industry is faced with enormous challenges.
