介质与桥梁——论近现代时期和制汉语在西方文化对汉语语义的改造中的重要作用

当日本在近代与西方相遇后，便大量使用汉字和汉语词去翻译相应的西方名词、术语；而出自日本学人之手的这些译语，在近代又潮水般涌入中国。这些名为和制汉语的新词汇，既是日本吸收西方文化的介质，也是连接西方文化与汉语汉字的桥梁。它们通过近现代留日学生的广泛使用和传播进入中国，进而对汉语语义进行了深刻的改造，成为我们现在耳熟能详的日常用语，也成为现代汉语构建的基础之一。

Abstract

When the Japanese and Western culture met in modern, a mount of Chinese characters and  words are adopted to translate the new nouns and the corresponding term,what’s more,those translation by Japanese scholars is rushing towards China. This new kind of Chinese is not only the absorption of western culture ,but also became a bridge between western culture and Chinese characters. Through the profound transformation of Chinese semantic by the Chinese student in Japan, it has become a language we used everyday and also one of the foundations of modern Chinese construction.
