学习自主性及英语自主学习中的教师角色定位

【内容摘要】

学习自主性及英语自主学习中的教师角色定位随着英语课程改革的不断推进,自主学习越来越多的受到关注,成为教师教学以及学生学习的一种重要方式。文章首先介绍了英语自主学习的本质特征并分析了英语自主学习过程中的教师角色,然后展示了针对英语自主学习活动中学生对教师角色期待的实证调查报告。报告分为问卷调查和访谈两个部分。问卷调查结果显示,在自主学习活动中,学生对教师在鼓励、咨询和教材编写上的作用尤为期待。经过访谈发现,学生感觉到本身自主学习能力不足和动力减弱是产生这些期待的主要原因。此次研究从学生的视角深入探讨英语自主学习中教师角色的定位以及教师角色对自主学习的影响,旨在对自主学习中教师角色的转化提供帮助。

Learner Autonomy and the Orientation of Teachers’ Roles in
Autonomous English Learning
 
Abstract: With the advancement of English curriculum reform, more and more focus is put on autonomous learning; it has become an important pattern for the teachers’ teaching and the students’ learning. This paper introduces the substantive characteristics of the autonomous English learning and analyzes the teacher’s role in the process of autonomous English learning at first. Then, a survey is made among the students who are conducting the autonomous English learning. It consists of two phases, the questionnaire and the interview. The result of the questionnaire shows that the students particularly hope the teachers can play an important role in consulting, encouraging and compiling the teaching material. According to the interview, the students realize that their insufficient abilities in autonomous learning and the weakening of motivation are primary causes that they have these expectations to the teachers. The orientation of the teachers’ roles and their influence on the autonomous learning are discussed from the perspective of the students. It is supposed to provide some help for the transformation of teachers’ roles in the process of autonomous English learning.
