高中英语语音教学研究

   随着人们对语言交际能力认识的不断改善以及语言交际教学法的盛行,语音教学变得越来越重要。由于影响语音学习的因素比较复杂,使语音教学成为外语教学中被忽视的领域。另外,由于过分重视应试教育,使高中阶段的语音教学成为一个薄弱环节。对于如何使用有效地教学方法提高学习者学习运用语音知识,长期以来成为语音教学中有待于解决的问题。
    本文以151名学生和4名高中英语教师作为调查和访谈对象,基于学习者不同个性及心理特征,学习动机等进行调查,以及对教师如何有效地进行语音教学进行访谈,展开对高中语音教学的探究。
    本文分为五个部分。第一部分介绍了语音,同时对语音教学法做了回顾。第二部分对学生问卷调查和教师访谈的情况做了介绍, 包括问卷调查和访谈的对象以及具体操作的程序。第三部分是针对调查和访谈结果进行分析,发现了影响学生语音学习的因素以及高中语音教学中存在的问题。第四部分提出了高中语音教学的对策: 激发学生的语音学习兴趣,提好教师自身的素质,采取以学生为中心的语音教学模式。第五部分为本文的结论,以学生为中心的语音教学方式是一种有利于提高学生语言交际能力的有效方法,但是它的完善还有待于高中的一线英语教师再教学实践中的进一步探讨。

ABSTRACT

With the development and popularization of the language communicative approach, English pronunciation teaching is becoming more and more important. For the complexity of the influential factors of English pronunciation learning, as well the emphasis on examination-oriented education, the pronunciation teaching in high school is the weaklink. To improve the communicative competence of learners and choose the useful teaching methods are always the questions needed to solve in English pronunciation teaching.
This paper, in the present study, 151 students of Grade Three in a local senior high school were investigated on the basis of different abilities & personalities and motivations; 4 high school teachers were interviewed about the usage of pronunciation teaching methods. The purpose is to study the current situation of high school pronunciation teaching.
The paper falls into six parts. In the first part, it gives the general introduction of pronunciation teaching and the historical review of English pronunciation teaching methods. In the second part, it introduces the investigation of students and the interview of teachers. In the third part, it makes the analysis of the research among students and the interview among teachers. In the fourth part, it points out the countermeasures of improving English pronunciation teaching: mobilize the enthusiasm of students, improve teachers’ professional quality and apply the learner-centered pronunciation teaching mode. The last part is the conclusion, the writer tries to show that the learner-centered pronunciation teaching mode is an effective way to improve learners’ communicative competence. Here the writer believes that it needs more studies to improve English pronunciation teaching by high school English teachers.
