冰与火之歌：历史与奇幻的结合A Song of Ice and Fire: The Combination of History and Fantasy
本文旨在通过文献研究法对美国小说家乔治•R•R•马丁创作的一系列史诗奇幻小说《冰与火之歌》中的历史与奇幻的结合进行研究。首先，对本文的研究的意义，论点及组织结构做了简单的介绍。此外，论文在文献回顾方面对关于《冰与火之歌》中的东方传统和原型批判进行了简要的概括和总结。在研究完《冰与火之歌》的历史元素和奇幻元素之后，文章对历史原型与奇幻结合以及历史事件与奇幻的结合进行了讨论。因此本文的结论是：历史与奇幻的结合的应用是非常的成功，不仅展示了马丁高超的艺术创造力，更增强了小说的深刻性和艺术性，丰富了小说的内涵。

Abstract
Through the literature research method, this paper focuses on the combination of history and fantasy in A Song of Ice and Fire, a series of epic fantasy novels by the American novelist George R. R. Martin. First, it gives a general introduction to the significance of the study, the thesis statement and the organization of the paper. The paper also mentions the literature review concerning the issue of the orientalist tradition and of the archetypal criticism in A Song of Ice and Fire. After analyzing the historical elements and fantastical elements in A Song of Ice and Fire, the thesis intends to discuss the combination of historical prototype and fantasy and of historical events and fantasy. It can be concluded that the application of the combination in A Song of Ice and Fire is a success. It constitutes Martin’s artistic creation and makes the novel more reliable and profound and greatly enriches its implications.
