论“信、达、切”原则在《生活大爆炸》字幕翻译中的应用

字幕是指出现在外文电影中演员对白的译文。其内容与情节、画面和声音紧密结合，因此在翻译字幕时需考虑的因素极多。本文以当红美剧《生活大爆炸》为例，在对比了圣城家园与人人影视两个版本的字幕翻译的基础上，探索得知以刘重德先生“信、达、切”三原则作为字幕翻译的指导性原则及评价标准是十分恰当的。

Abstract

Subtitles are the words printed over a film in a foreign language to translate what is being said by the actors. They are bonded closely with the plot, picture and voice, so there are many factors that need to be considered during translating. Taking the popular American TV series The Big Bang Theory as an example, and comparing the two versions of the subtitles (the version of YYeTs and the version of SCG), the author finds that the principle of "faithfulness, expressiveness and closeness" is suitable for translating the subtitles of The Big Bang Theory.
