小学英语教学中游戏活动效果实证研究


《新英语课程标准》提出基础教育阶段英语课程的任务是激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生树立自信心。因此,如何提高和培养学生英语学习兴趣是每个英语教师所面临的共同课题。在教学中运用游戏是自古就有的做法,游戏教学在小学英语教学中的效果究竟如何,是本课题的研究目标。本文首先对游戏教学进行了系统的阐述与分析,其次综述了游戏教学的理论基础与实施依据,然后通过对两个班的教学进行实证研究,得出游戏教学不仅有利于提高小学生学习英语的兴趣,建立平等的师生关系,而且有利于学生英语成绩的提高和良好的性格塑造。这一研究可以使广大教师对游戏教学的作用有一个正确的认识,并且尝试运用游戏教学,让学生在轻松愉快的氛围下参与课堂活动,促进课程的发展,提高教学质量。

Abstract

    The New Curriculum Standards of Primary School English clearly points that stimulating students’ learning interest is the key point in primary school English teaching. So how to stimulate students’ interest in learning English is the most important task to every teacher. Game teaching has been used from ancient time, and recently it has received much attention. This paper mainly focuses on the effect that game teaching makes. First of all, the paper introduces the definition, characteristics and significance of game teaching, then presents the theoretical basis of game teaching in primary school English. At last, based on an empirical research, the paper identifies the effect of game teaching in primary school English. This study can help teachers have a correct understanding on game teaching, encourage teachers’ attempt at using game teaching method in class, and let students participate in classroom activities in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, so as to promote the development of curriculum, and improve teaching quality.
