对比中西学习动机理论,激发英语学习的动机

【内容摘要】

The Motivation for English Learning Through the Contrasts between Western and Chinese Learning Motivation TheoriesAbstract: This paper first introduces the main classifications of learning motivation theories both in China and in the West. It then compares and contrasts the Western and Chinese Educational Psychology to motivate English learning from the two perspectives of intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation. And in the paper, the intrinsic motivation includes the education of learning purpose, the cultivation of the curiosity for leaning and interest and the transfer of the original motivation. And on the other hand, the extrinsic motivation includes the teaching aims, the teaching contents and methods, teachers’ feedback and the organization of cooperation and competition. From the contrasts of some theories of learning motivation that we are summed up, it finally offers some creative and possible ways that may motivate English learning. 摘要: 本文首先结介绍了中西方对动机分类的概况;本文对中西教育心理学中的内部动机与外部动机的激发的对比来激发英语学习的动机:内部动机激发是指学习目的的教育、学习兴趣的培养、原动机的转移,而外部动机的激发是指学习目标、教学内容及方法、教师的反馈和合理组织合作与竞争活动:通过对比和一些学习动机和理论总结出几条合理且具有创新意义的激发英语学习动机的方法。
