英语专业学生写作中的错误分析
摘  要

论文探讨英语专业学生写作中的错误分析。错误分析作为应用语言学的一个重要分支,无疑在第二语言的教与学中起到重要的作用。它不仅能帮助教师和研究者了解到学习者对第二语言掌握的程度以及学习的策略,而且还可以帮助教师了解学生学习中共同的问题,对促进教师的教学及学生的学习具有重要意义。论文以错误分析、对比分析等为基础,从所收集的本校英语专业二年级28名学生的作文中抽取的10篇作为语料,进行错误分析,首先,找出学生作文中的错误并将其进行归类,然后重点探索其产生的原因。分析发现该语料中有104个错误,包括实质错误、词汇、语法、篇章和语用错误,其中以词汇和语法错误更为明显。导致错误的原因有语际因素(以母语负迁移为主)和许多相关语内因素等。最后在研究基础上,文章为词汇和语法教学提出建议。

Error Analysis of English Majors’ Writing

 

 ABSTRACT

This thesis discusses the error analysis of English majors’ writing. Error Analysis (EA), a branch of Applied Linguistics, has undoubtedly made great contributions to the study on second language learning. It throws some light on the process of second language learning. A careful study of the writing errors reveals the common problems shared by the language learners, which is believed to be of great help to both language teachers and language learners. This thesis, with Error Analysis (EA) and Contrastive Analysis (CA) as its theoretical guidance, analyzes ten compositions chosen from the 28 limit-time compositions written by 28 sophomores majoring in English. A classification of the errors is made first, followed by a discussion of the factors leading to the errors, with emphasis on the latter. The analysis shows that there are 104 errors in the students’ compositions. The students’ errors cover 5 types: substance errors, lexical errors, grammatical errors, discourse errors and pragmatic errors. Lexical errors and grammatical errors are the main errors in the compositions. Negative transfer of the first language and intralingual factors are two major reasons of errors, with the former playing a more prominent role than the latter. Following the analysis and discussion, some pedagogical suggestions are put forward to the lexical and grammar teaching.
