《人民日报》与《纽约时报》关于现代化的话语构建
DISCURSIVE CONSTRUCTIONS OF MODERNIZATION IN THE PEOPLE’S DAILY AND NEW TORK TIMES SINCE 1978
Abstract: Modernization is an ongoing macro historical worldwide transformation process, one of that from a traditional agricultural society to a modern industrial society. Although the process of the world modernization has already gone through over 200 years, the study of it has a history of only about 50 years. So far, although there have been reached lots of achievements of the study of modernization, there has been no one from the perspective of corpus linguistics and discourse analysis. Therefore, based on the objective results offered by corpus tools and the perspectives given by modernization theories, this study is going to make an exploratory analysis of the discursive constructions of modernization in the People's Daily and in the New York Times since 1978. Then a deep and comprehensive understanding of modernization and useful suggestions of promoting China’s own modernization process will be achieved.

1978年来《人民日报》与《纽约时报》关于现代化的话语构建

    摘要：现代化是指当前仍在进行的世界范围内的人类社会由传统的农业社会向现代的工业社会转变的宏观历史进程。尽管世界的现代化运动已有两百年的历史，但对这一过程的研究却只有大约五十年的历史。到目前为止，尽管对现代化的研究已取得了许多成就，但还没有取得从语料库语言学的角度去研究的成果。因此，基于语料库工具所提供的客观结果和现代化理论所提供的众多视角，本文将对1978年来《人民日报》与《纽约时报》关于现代化的话语构建进行一次探索性的分析。从而达到对现代化的深刻而全面的理解，并且对中国自己的现代化
进程提出建设性建议。
