网络虚拟社区中电子商务新模式的探索

【内容摘要】

hile the E-commerce of online site has emerged as a significant area of research, there has been little discussion of the possibilities of the E-commerce of virtual settlements,as a truthful information source.

 defined here as interactive synthetic environments in which users are sensually immersed and which respond to user input. Bartle has described such virtual settlements as 'places where the imaginary meets the real'. In this sense, an E-commerce in virtual settlements has the potential to be more beneficial in both 'real' and 'imagined' communities more generally. This article develops the concept of 'cyberarchaeology' (originally devised by Jones in his 1997 article, 'Virtual Communities') to study the ‘C2B’ E-commerce form. A survey in ‘Xiaonei’ site suggests that the collecting information for business in virtual community may be possible, and the payment is not necessary to be provided. Nonetheless, this study of E-commerce in Virtual Community provides insights into the interest which the users of Virtual Community care about, and the challenge during the information collecting.

Introduction
Network community is a virtual community existed on the internet, which provides space and room for users to interact and communicate with others who have Common interests or same needs. Network community includes BBS, discussion group, online chatting, blog and else.

E-commerce in Network Community, which is still under exploring, is not same as online shopping site, and should not copy the traditional profit model of B2C or C2C sites. The main reason is that they lack of transaction security. The registration of a new account must be easy on this community so that the it can keep and increase the number of online members, which is the core competence of a community because most of content on the site are post by users rather than employees. The community will become another B2C or C2C site if it adds credit system to each account, therefore it has little advantages compared with mature B2C and C2C sites. 
On the other hand, if the community involves any business corporation about those companies and products the users discussed, there must be interest controversy between objective comments and community`s business benefits gaining from that kind of business corporation, which will seriously undermine community`s credibility
