夏洛克•福尔摩斯，一个由柯南•道尔塑造出的小说人物形象，因其敏锐的逻辑思维、解决困难案件时能够灵活运用法医学及伪装的能力而闻名于世。通常而言，大多数人会更关注夏洛克•福尔摩斯的人物性格特征，但在本文中我将从人道主义角度出发，去分析整篇小说。
福尔摩斯小说中充满着人性，温情和关怀，还包括特别适合于当今社会的普遍主题。因此，我们不应该忽视《福尔摩斯探案集》中的人道主义，这是值得去深入研究的。无限欲望和善良意志，人性的邪恶和人格的独立，罪大恶极和宽容仁爱贯穿于整部福尔摩斯系列小说之中，从而展现出以人为本的思想。通过对批判邪恶、弘扬正义以及倡导仁爱，柯南•道尔构建出一个自由平等的理想王国。

The Humanitarianism in Adventures of Sherlock Holmes

Abstract

Sherlock Holmes, a fictional character created by Arthur Conan Doyle, is known for his astute logical reasoning, his ability to adopt almost any disguise and his use of forensic science to solve difficult cases. Usually, most people pay more attention on Sherlock Holmes’ personal characteristics, but in this essay I will analyze the humanitarianism in whole stories.
The Sherlock Holmes stories were suffused with humanity, warmth and solicitude, and they included universal theme that was especially suitable today when humanistic elements were being seized by rampant technology. Therefore, we should not ignore the humanitarianism in Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, which is worth researching in depth. The immeasurable desire and the good will, the evil of human nature and the independence of human dignity, the atrocity and the mercy are interwoven in the whole series of Sherlock Holmes, which manifest the people-oriented ideology. By criticizing evil, advocating justice and initiating humanity, Conan Doyle establishes an ideal world of freedom and equality.
