顺应论框架下字幕粗俗语英译研究—以《让子弹飞》字幕为案例

本研究以《让子弹飞》字幕为案例，对顺应论框架下字幕粗俗语英译的主要方面和有关因素进行了调查和研究。维索尔伦的顺应论为字幕粗俗语的翻译提供了新视角；根据顺应论的观点，语言的使用就是为了不断适应各种交际目的，有意识做出语言选择的过程。能够做出选择，是因为语言具有变异性、协商性、顺应性三个特性，其中顺应性是核心。经过分析和验证，本研究发现粗俗字幕翻译是一种内容特殊的交际，因此翻译过程中需要考虑众多语境因素，为了能够准确有效地表达影片信息和导演的意图，需要在翻译过程中作出动态地语言选择促进。因此，论文尝试在顺应论框架下以《让子弹飞》字幕为案例对字幕粗俗语的英译进行研究；论文的研究旨在为字幕粗俗语英译提供一些参考性建议。

Abstract
This study applies adaptation theory proposed by Jef Verschueren to vulgar subtitle translation in a Chinese film Let the Bullet Fly. Jef Verschueren’s adaptation theory sheds new light on subtitle translation. According to the viewpoint of adaptation theory, the proper choice-making depends on the three properties of language: variability, negotiability and adaptability among which the adaptability is the core. Movie is an important means of intercultural communication. In order to interpret the film effectively and express the purpose of the director exactly, it is necessary to take various contextual elements into full consideration and make proper linguistic choice dynamically. Therefore, with Let the Bullet Fly as example, the thesis attempts to study the adaption theory approach to vulgarity in subtitle translation; the study of the thesis aims to provide some suggestion for reference for the translation of vulgarity subtitle translation.
