两位女人悲剧成因的对比分析---海斯特和苔丝

苔丝与海斯特分别是《德伯家的苔丝》与《红字》中的女主人公，尽管她们生活在不同的时代，不同的国度，但她们却有惊人的相似之处,即她们都有美丽如花的外表;都有一颗为了他人牺牲自己的善心;同样追求真爱。这些都是导致她们悲剧命运的原因，然而，这两位引人注目的女主人公却有着截然不同的结局。本文旨在对两位女性悲剧形成的原因进行对比分析,从中找到导致她们悲剧命运的共同原因。

Abstract
Tess and Hester, respectively are heroines of Tess of the d 'urbervilles and the scarlet letter, although they lived in different times, different country, but they have amazing similarities .they both have beautiful appearances, a sacrifice heart for others and the pursuit of true love. These are the causes of their tragedy fate ,however, the two compelling heroines had a very different ending. This paper aims to analyse the causes of the formation of two women's tragedy, and find the reasons which led to their tragic fate.
