中英餐桌礼仪对比

中国和英国都是两个历史非常悠久、文化积蕴深厚的国家。其中最能体现两国文化的也是与人们日常生活最为相关的便是饮食文化。饮食文化涉及多个方面，包括其来源、发展及在特殊场合上的一些餐桌的礼仪。随着人们商务联系越来越频繁，很多谈判也在餐桌上完成，其礼仪就更为重要。通过对中英餐桌礼仪及相应文化进行对比有助于消除人们在交流上的障碍，促进文化的传播及商业的发展。
论文除了引言和结论部分外三章组成，引言部分，简述了论文的写作目的及意义。第一章简要介绍了中英餐桌礼仪的由来及其悠久的历史和发展进程。第二章详细介绍了中英在预约订餐、到达餐厅、入座、服装仪容、携带礼物、座次安排、用餐以及餐后各方面礼仪的差异。第三章则主要阐述导致中英饮食文化及餐桌礼仪的差异的相关文化、经济状况及民风民俗。最后是论文的结论部分：人们应当如何对待中英餐桌文化各方面的差异，并如何在各个场合的餐桌上做到得体。

Comparison of Table Manners in China and Britain

Abstract

China and Britain both have a long history. History includes many sides but one of the most outstanding sides, which goes hand in hand with people’s daily life is the diet culture. The diet culture is consisting of many aspects such as its origin, the development and table manners on formal occasions. As people have more and more communication in business now, sometimes people need to negotiate with their partners during the dinner, so table manners become crucial to the success of the negotiation. Comparing the differences in the table manners between China and Britain can eliminate the barrier to communication, promote the transmission of culture and boost the commercial development.  
The paper can be divided into three chapters besides introduction and conclusion. The introduction talks about the writing background and purpose. The first chapter deals with the difference between Britain and China in origins of table manners and their development. The second part focuses on the differences between Britain and China in various aspects of table manners, including restaurant reservation, dress code and gifts bringing, reaching the dining room, seating, dinner progress and something after dinner. The third chapter analyzes the reasons which result the differences. The conclusion is then drawn with the due attitudes toward the differences and the ways to make people decent at a table.
