“酷儿理论”的文学分析—以迈克尔•坎宁安的小说为例

美国当代作家迈克尔•坎宁安的小说文本隐含着深刻思想内蕴，展现了具有同性恋和双性恋倾向人们的生活状态和思想情感。为我们关注主流文化之外的别样社会现象，提供了梳理文化成因的研究素材，也留下了很大的探索空间。以当下西方流行的文学批评理论——“酷儿理论”的视角切入，透过文字的表象可以发现迈克尔•坎宁安塑造的人物正是“酷儿理论”的实践者，这些同性恋和双性恋者试图用自己的行动去颠覆人们原有的性别观念，消解生理性别、强调社会性别，对传统的家庭价值观念提出挑战。

The Literary Analysis of Queer Theory
——Novels by Michael Cunningham

Abstract

The text of novels of Michael Cunningham, an American contemporary writer, implies deep ideological implication, showing the life state of people with homosexual and bisexual tendency and their thoughts and feelings. It offers many research materials to explore the causes of culture，leaving plenty of imagination and thinking when we care about other social phenomenon outside the mainstream culture. This paper uses the vision of queer theory, the current popular western literary criticism theory as a point of penetration, for us to find that the heroes and heroine of novel are the contemporary practitioners of queer theory, who try to subvert people’s original gender concepts through their practical actions, breaking down the boundaries of gender, rather stressing the social gender, challenging the traditional value of family.
