从奥巴马的成功看“美国梦”

A Study of American Dream from the Success of Barack Obama
Abstract: Every country and nation which has unique cultural traditions has its own complex. As for the Americans, the complex is “the American Dream”. This thesis will demonstrate American Dream vividly by taking the success of Barack Obama as example and the methods such as concept analysis, historical research, and cases analysis.This paper will be helpful for us to understand the core of American Dream more deeply. Meanwhile, we can also identify the essence and the dregs of American Dream, making the communication of different culture more smoothly.
From discussion and analysis above mentioned, we can easily draw the following conclusion.
(1) American Dream will never fall. Each president including Barack Obama will continue to carry forward the spirit of American Dream. It is the greatest national spirit of the United States and with the development of American this spirit will be attached more and more connotations.
(2) In the twentieth century, American Dream was hit hardly by the survival crisis, people lost confidence. Now, Barack Obama has won the election, American Dream wakes again, and causes a pursuit of dream. As an ordinary American, he may not have a distinguished background. But through his own efforts, he can succeed. It is undoubtedly the most perfect comment on American dream.
(3) Through the present American President Barack Obama, we will have a deeper and thorough understanding of American Dream. American Dream is not the spirit of American, but the dream of the entire world. This spirit can inspire every one of us to pursue success.
According to the analysis above, we can table suggestions for the developments of American Dream in China, we should reserve good connotations of American Dream that can give us positive energy and make us keeping enterprising.
