追寻生态英雄主义——生态批评视角下的《老人与海》

本论文以《老人与海》为案例，从生态批评理论框架下对传统英雄主义破灭的原因进行了分析和研究。本论文发现在生态批评理论框架下，人类传统的英雄主义观------并不完全科学。本论文紧跟时代步伐，提出了新型的生态英雄主义的概念。分别从两个角度对其进行解释和分析。即不仅要具备符合社会发展的良好品质，还应考虑生态因素，切记认为人定胜天。同时在思想上要舍弃传统英雄主义不达目的不罢休的观念，懂得适当的取舍和放弃.总之，本论文旨在提倡一种保护生态，与大自然和谐共处的理论。

Abstract
This thesis analyses and studies the specific reasons why traditional heroism in the Old Man and the Sea will inevitably be disillusioned from the perspective of ecocriticism. This paper finds out that man's view of traditional heroism is not that scientific through ecocritical reading. Following the step of the contemporary times, this thesis puts forward the concept of the new ecological heroism. It explains and analyses the concept from two respective aspects. That is an ecological hero should not only own good qualities consistent with the social development, but he should also consider about the ecological factors rather than take for granted that man can easily conqure nature. Meanwhile, an ecological hero should abandon the value of never giving up till achieving the goals held by the traditional heroes. He should learn to give up at certain time. In a
