Abstract

Half lif, Eileen Chang a unique feminine life experience made Gu Manzhen, Gu Manlu these two typical female images in the book, the plight of their writing not only show women's survival tragedy, it transcends human. Starting from the two female character and image features, the tragic factors, analyzed profoundly in between old and new values in the same tragic ending, influence factors of the new age and the old age female, they are the victims of social feudal ideology. Reflects the cultural and historical latitude to female value thinking and the tragic fate of women's unique sentiment.
