我国是一个农业人口占较大比重的国家，农民的政治参与状况直接影响当代中国社会政治文明的进程，也直接制约着建设社会主义新农村的步伐。
改革开放以来，我国农村经济得到了较快的发展，农民的政治参与能力和水平也有了相应地提高。但农村因受经济﹑文化等诸因素制约，农民的政治参与状况不容乐观。本文通过对社会转型期中国农民政治参与的方式、特点及存在的问题的分析，探研解决这些问题的对策与路径。

ABSTRACT：China is a large proportion of the population of agriculture, farmers' political participation situation directly affects the contemporary Chinese social political civilization process, also directly restricts the construction of a new socialist countryside. Since the reform and opening up, China's rural economy and the rapid development of farmers' political participation ability and level has increased at the same time. But the rural economy and culture by the factors restricting, farmers' political participation situation is not optimistic. Based on the social transition of Chinese farmers' political participation, characteristics and the analysis of the existing problems, exploring countermeasures to solve these problems and path.
