《红楼梦》中颜色词的翻译探讨

     
内容摘要：颜色存在于我们日常生活的各个方面，文学作品中的颜色词也广泛存在，所以对颜色词的翻译结果可以直接影响一篇文学译作的优劣。颜色词由于具有丰富的文化背景和联想意义而导致难以恰当翻译。本文通过分析英语颜色词的分类，结合杨宪益的《红楼梦》译本中对实物颜色词和程度颜色词的翻译方法，做出初步探讨。如何才能让《红楼梦》的翻译变得通俗易懂，雅俗共赏，让它真正来源于生活，回归于生活。

The Translation Study of the Color Words in
A Dream of Red Mansions

                                     
Content abstract: Color exists in all aspects of our daily life, and color words also widely exist in literature works. So the translation of the color words can directly affect the literature translation. It is quite difficult to translate the literature works appropriately because of the rich cultural background and associations of the works. Through analyzing the classification of English words of color and combined with the translation of real object color word and degree color word in A Dream of Red Mansions translated by Yang xianyi, this paper discusses the translation of color words to make A Dream of Red Mansions simpler to understand and truly let it from life to life.
