基于OpenGL实现聋哑人手语

 

摘 要:
关于聋哑人手语识别的研究,是当下国内外科研工作者为解决聋哑人沟通交流障碍的共同课题。其中,对于聋哑人的手语研究主要分为两大方向:一是实现将文字、声音等可输入的信息翻译成手语,供听力障碍者识别,接收外部信息;二是致力于通过计算机将手语翻译成文字或者语音,以方便听力障碍者与健听者的正常交流,以及帮助听力障碍者更好的融入社会。本设计对虚拟人仿真技术、计算机图形学、机器人运动学、生物机械学、医学等诸多相关领域都有一定的现实意义。
本文对聋哑人手语关键动作进行了研究,程序框架采用Windows平台下的Visual C++ 6.0开发工具中的Win32程序框架,使用C++面向对象编程语言,并基于OpenGL来实现虚拟人环境,添加消息响应机制,实现人机交互,鼠标以及键盘操作。点击鼠标左右键可以控制模型绘制模式,键盘按键可以控制观察角度。
本文设计了多种关键手势,和几种菜单供选择。通过选择菜单弹出对话框进行手势选择,可以对虚拟人的左右手分别进行控制,实现手部可能手势、不可能手势以及连续手势的变换。手势变换过程中设计了一个过渡函数,使得两种手势之间可以自由过渡,不会产生跳帧现象,同时可以选择连续动作使得虚拟人产生连续动画效果。

Abstract:
On the deaf sign language recognition research , is the domestic and international researchers’s common issues to deal with the communication barriers between deaf subjects . Which , for the deaf in sign language research is divided into two directions : First , to achieve the text , sound , and can enter the information translated into sign language for the hearing impaired recognition , receiving external information ; second is dedicated to sign language through computer translated into text or voice , to facilitate the hearing is normal and healthy listener exchanges , and to help the hearing impaired to better integrate into society . The design for the virtual human simulation technology , computer graphics , robot kinematics , biological mechanics , medicine and many other related fields have some practical significance .
In this paper , the key action of the deaf sign language was studied . The program framework used Windows platform of Visual C++ 6.0 development tool in the Win32 application framework , and used C++ object-oriented programming language , and based on OpenGL to achieve the virtual human environment , to add information to respond to mechanism to achieve human-computer interaction , mouse and keyboard . To click on the left and right mouse button to control the drawing mode of the model , and on the keyboard keys to control the angle of observation .
This paper designs a variety of key gestures , and several menu choices .You can pop-up a dialog box by selecting a menu choice for gestures . Virtual human’s left and right hands can be controlled separately . It can achieve the possible gestures, impossible gestures, and continuous gestures  transform . And the gestures designed to transform the process of a transition , making the transition freely between two gestures , will not produce jump phenomenon and can choose continuous action and can make the continuous production of virtual human animation .
