叶蜡石表面修饰及其竞争性吸附研究
摘要: 本文对叶蜡石进行了偶联活化改性及其吸附性能研究,使得叶蜡石从亲水性粉体转变为憎水性粉体。叶蜡石粉体通过在表面偶联一层N-(正丁基)-3-氨丙基三甲氧基硅烷(BAPTS)偶联剂进行活化处理,研制出活化指数达到100%的改性叶蜡石粉体。利用活化的叶蜡石粉体作为Pb(II)、Ni(II)、Cd(II)三种离子的吸附剂进行吸附实验研究,结果表明:偶联剂的添加量为1.0%(质量分数)时,活化指数达到100%。对于溶液中同时含有Pb(II)、Ni(II)以及Cd(II)离子时,经过表面修饰的叶蜡石对各离子的吸附存在竞争性选择。叶蜡石对这3种金属离子的吸附强度大小顺序总体上为Pb2+>Ni2+>Cd2+。表面修饰叶蜡石对Pb(II)、Ni(II)、Cd(II)混合离子的吸附率在pH值6.0,吸附时间160 min,叶蜡石用量为1.0 g时达到最高的吸附率51.9%。

Pyrophyllite surface modification and its competitive adsorption
 
Abstract:The coupling activation modification as well as the adsorption property of the functionalized pyrophyllite powder were investigated. The functionalization process changed the hydrophilic nature of the pyrophyllite powder into hydrophobic. The surface of pyrophyllite powder was modified by coating with N-(n-butyl)-3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane (BAPTS) coupling agent and the pyrophyllite powder  with activation index 100% was prepared . Then the modified pyrophyllite powder was investigated as an adsorbent for removal of Pb(II), Ni(II), Cd(II) ions from aqueous solutions. The results indicate that the activation index arrives at 100% when the addition of coupling agent is 1.0% mass fraction. There were competition among Pb(II), Ni(II) and Cd(II) adsorption by modified pyrophyllite when the solution contains the three ions. The order of adsorption capacity is as follows: Pb2+ > Ni2+ > Cd2+. The highest absorption rate(51.9%) for Pb(II)、Ni(II)、Cd(II)  of  the modified pyrophyllite  arrives at pH 6.0, adsorption time 160 min, pyrophyllite amount 1.0 g.
