英语学习动机的激发与培养
摘  要

本文通过对动机的定义及其分类，详细介绍了动机在学习上的重要性，外语教育心理学认为，学生学习外语最有效的途径是让他们注意力集中，积极参加到语言学习当中，其中动机对学习的积极性起了很大的作用，因此动机在英语学习中越来越被人们所重视。通过对影响动机的各个因素的具体分析，即焦虑、好奇与对成败的归因等因素，本文提出了如何激发和培养大学生英语学习动机的具体方面与策略，策略具体体现在教学材料的改善，教师在教学中所占的位置以及课堂气氛的营造。许多大学生虽然学习外语已经很多年，但他们当中仍有些人的学习动机不清晰，不明确，本文通过明确的教学方法，激发学生的学习内动力，引导师生运用科学的方法进行教与学，达到最佳的英语学习效果。

On Promoting and Developing College Students’ Motivation for English Study

ABSTRACT

This paper puts forwards the importance of motivation in English learning by introducing the definitions and classification of motivation. Psychologists in education believe that the most effective way of students’ language learning is that students should devote themselves to language learning and participate in its activity, and motivation plays an important role in promoting the enthusiasm for learning, so motivation is now more and more emphasized in the English learning. By means of analysis of the factors about motivation (anxiety, curiosity and attribution about success and failure etc.), this paper puts forwards the strategies about how to promote and develop students’ English learning interest, such as improving the teaching materials, verifying the teacher’s role and creating the classroom atmosphere. Many college English learners have been studying English for years; some of them even do not have a clear motivation or just a slur one，and this paper introduces the concrete strategies. In the process of students’ English learning, the teacher should promote and develop students’ English learning motivation through definite teaching goals. Meanwhile the students should learn English under scientific strategies.
