年龄因素与儿童英语教学的策略
摘  要

文章从年龄的角度对儿童英语教学策略进行了分析。在影响语言学习的众多个体因素中,年龄因素对儿童语言学习的影响是较为明显而直接的。研究年龄与儿童英语教学之间的关系,对于儿童英语教学具有重要的意义。文章分析了关键假说,指出儿童正处于外语学习的“关键期”,因此根据儿童英语学习的特点开展英语教学是十分必要的。文章从年龄的角度分析了儿童英语教与学的特点,根据其特点提出了关于儿童英语教学的七条策略: 引导和激发儿童对英语的学习兴趣,营造一个轻松愉快的儿童学习英语的环境,为儿童选择最佳的英语学习时间,在课堂中为儿童创造偶然性的学习机会,时刻指导儿童行为,给儿童提供最佳的行为示范,以及运用广泛的教学策略。这些策略的目的在于为现在中国儿童英语教学提供一些参考。

Age Factor and Children English Teaching Strategies
 
ABSTRACT

This paper analyzes children English teaching strategies from the perspective of age. It has been proved that age is one of the important individual factors which are closely related to language learning. It has relatively obvious and direct influence on children language learning. Therefore it is of great importance to study the relationship between age factor and children English teaching.  By analyzing the Critical Period Hypothesis, the present paper points out that it is necessary for children English teachers to understand the characteristics of children English learning and teaching, which may properly give guidance to their teaching. In terms of age factor, seven strategies are proposed by the author to shed some light on present children English teaching. And they are arousing and motivating the children’s interest in English, creating a stress-free learning environment for children, creating some incidental learning in class, making good use of the best teachable time, guiding children’s behavior, being good models and using a range of teaching strategies.
