影响任务型英语教学效果的因素


摘  要

作为交际教学法的一种,任务型教学法是指教师围绕特定主题设计任务,鼓励并激发学生采取不同的学习策略,完成所设定的任务,全面提高学生交际能力的一种教学法。文章根据任务型教学法理论特点,结合国内外学者对任务型教学法可操作性的研究成果,对影响此教学法在国内实施效果的因素进行了分析。论文认为任务的难度(任务的内容、语言知识和任务的复杂度)、学习者的学习态度和动机、教师的教学方式及自身素质、课堂环境等因素都会对其实施产生影响。因此作者提出改进任务型教学法教学效果的建议,指出教师作为知识的传播者,在教学过程中应该注意加强自身的修养,须理解学生并制定适合学生的学习任务,与学生共同建立良好的教学环境。学生也应该积极主动,充满自信地配合老师的教学。

An Analysis of the Factors Influencing the Effect of Task-based English Teaching
 

ABSTRACT

As one form of communicative teaching, task-based instruction, namely, Task-based English Teaching (TBET) means that within a given theme, tasks are constructed that call for students to utilize different learning strategies and foster different aspects of communicative competence. This thesis analyzes the factors influencing the effect of Task-based English Teaching in English classes. It is based on rationale of the task-based English teaching and domestic and foreign scholars’ practical experiments. This thesis discusses the factors influencing implementation of TBET, including the task difficulty, learner’s attitudes and motivation, as well as teacher’s quality and class environment. Therefore, the author suggests that in order to improve the teaching effect of TBET, the teachers who act as a mediator of knowledge should enhance their own self-cultivation to understand students and the teaching method better, which enable them to design a proper learning so as to build a relaxed environment. At the same time, students should hold an active and confident attitude and react cooperatively to teachers’ arrangement.
