从词汇联想意义看中西文化差异
摘  要

文章拟从词汇联想意义入手，探讨中西文化差异的几个方面。通过比较一些词汇的联想意义在两种文化中的相似之处与不同之处，试图分析造成这种现象的原因并对词汇联想意义在两种文化中的不同程度进行详细阐述。通过对一些具有代表意义的词汇的联想意义在中西两种文化中的对比，反映中西文化在三方面的差异，即：地理位置，审美观念和历史背景。文章认为加深对中西两种文化差异的了解，有助于促进两国人们更好的交流。

Chinese and Western Cultural Differences in the Perspective of Words’ Associative Meaning
 
ABSTRACT
This paper tries to discuss Chinese and western cultural differences in the perspective of words’ associative meaning. Through the comparison of some words’ similar or different associative meaning in the two cultures, the reasons which cause this phenomenon and the different extent of words’ associative meaning are discussed. Through the analysis of some typical words’ associative meaning in the two cultures, three different cultural aspects are reflected, namely, geographic environment, aesthetic ideas and historical background. This paper considers that it is very useful for us to deepen our understanding of the two cultural differences so as to promote the communication between the two peoples.
