EFL课堂中的小组活动研究
摘  要

文章主要探讨小组活动的理论背景、主要类型、特点、优点及实施的具体步骤,并分析影响小组活动的因素。小组活动是指两个或更多的学生根据分配的任务,通过合作而进行的一系列活动。它作为一种有效的课堂组织形式,能促进学生语言交际能力的发展。
小组活动以约翰逊兄弟的社会互赖理论和维果斯基的最近发展区理论为理论基础。小组活动对英语教学能产生促进作用。它能增加语言操练机会,创造一个积极有效的学习气氛,增强学习者的学习动机,提高学习者的责任感及自主学习能力,有助于个性化教育。小组活动分四步实施:分组、设定任务、控制和演示与评价。在其过程中它受师生之间的关系、小组长与组员之间的关系、话题、学生的个性以及学生的动机与态度等因素的影响。

A Study of Group Work in EFL Classroom
 
ABSTRACT

This thesis mainly discusses its theoretical background, main activities, characteristics, advantages and steps of organizing group work, and analyzes factors affecting its efficiency. Group work is defined as two or more students are assigned a task involves collaboration and self-initiated language. It is a useful way of organizing the class together so as to develop students’ communicative competence.
Group work is based on Social Interdependence Theory of Johnson brothers and the Zone of Proximal Development of Vygotsgy. Group work produces important significance to EFL teaching, which generates interactive language, creates an embracing affective climate, increases learner motivation, promotes learner responsibility and autonomy, benefits individualizing instruction. There are four steps to organize group work in EFL class: forming group, setting the task, monitoring the task, performing and evaluating. It is also influenced by the factors which include the relationship of teacher and students, the relationship of group leader and members, topic, personality, motivation and attitude.
