English course is a required course in middle schools. The course does not only increase the students’ language knowledge, but also helps expand their horizon.
However, teaching in middle school is still poor in some undeveloped areas. There are many factors that influence English teaching. This paper analyzes problems in basic English education and then proposes some solutions.
