随着知识经济和信息时代的到来，我国高等教育发展面临着重要的机遇和挑战，大学必须要提升自身竞争力，实现快速、协调、持续发展。
当前我国高等教育的宏观结构调整已经基本完成，建立符合社会要求、大学组织特性和环境变化要求的内部组织结构和探索适应经济社会发展要求与自身发展要求的内部组织结构管理模式成为当前的重要课题。为了从理论上分析，本文首先从组织结构的一般理论出发，介绍了国内外组织结构发展的历程和目前我国大学在组织结构上存在的问题，提出大学组织结构变革的必要性和变革趋势。其次运用权变理论的观点，从分析大学组织结构设计的影响要素入手，阐明大学在组织结构设计上进行权变研究的方法论意义。再次通过对大学组织结构类型的分析，提出我国大学组织结构类型选择的原则以及大学组织结构模式的合理性评价。
中国的高校改革已经进入一个关键时期。资源要素的重新组合将极大地提高高校资源的配置效率和中国高校在国际上的竞争力,而高校内部管理体制的创新将最终促使高校建立起全新的运行机制,它对于高校未来发展的意义将远远超过前者。

Abstract
Along with the arrival of knowledge-based economy and information age，the higher education development of our country face important opportunity and challenge，the university has to promote its competition ability，and develop quickly，moderating,keep on.Currently，our country’s macroscopic structure of the higher education has been basically completed，the establishment meets internal organization structure and quest that the organization characteristic and environment of the society request，university change a request to adapt the management style of the internal organization structure that the economic social development requests to develop a request with oneself to become a current important topic．For analysis from theories，this text is set out from the general theories，introduces the process of domestic and international organization structure development and currently the existent problems of our country’s university in organizing structure．At the same time, the writer puts forward the necessity and change trend of the university’s organizationstructure．Secondly，making use of the changing theoretical standpoint，the writer analyzes the main factor influencing the structure design of the university’s organization commence，and clarifies the methodology meaning that universities carry on the changes a research in organizing a structure design．Through the analysis of the structure type of university again，put forward some principles of the choice to the structure type and the rational evaluation to the organization structure mode．
The Chinese university reform has entered a critical period.The amalgamation of the universities will enhance the Chinese university′s status globally and increase the operational efficiency.But the inner management system reform is of far-reaching historical significance,for it determines the foundation of new university operational mechanism.The article argues the past and the future organizational model of the university, such as the organizational procedure designing, personnel diversion and organizational function changing,etc..
