《喜福会》中母女关系的跨文化研究

STUDY MOTHER-DAUGHTER RELATIONSHIP IN THE JOY LUCK CLUB FROM INTERCULTURAL COMMUNICATIONAL PERSPECTIVE

Abstract: Amy Tan is regarded as one of the most quintessential Chinese American writers, and his reputation extends worldwide. Her masterpiece The Joy Luck Club has a tremendous impact on Chinese American literature, politics and society, which results in feverish researches on her. Selecting Tan’ s first book The Joy Luck Club as the object of study, this paper, by employing Hofstede’s theory of cultural dimensions, aims to analyze the theme of the novel from the perspective of intercultural communication and discuss the cultural factors about western-eastern culture.

《喜福会》中母女关系的跨文化研究

摘要：谭恩美是最重要的美国华裔女作家之一，名声斐然。其代表作《喜福会》对美国华裔文学及社会政治都有较大的影响，对她的研究也逐渐成为热门。本文选谭恩美的处女作《喜福会》为研究对象，以霍夫斯泰德的文化维度为分析基础，从跨文化交际的角度分析《喜福会》中的母女关系，并借此探讨《喜福会》背后的文化因素。
