英语谚语中的性别歧视研究

Abstract

The specific manifestation of sexism in the English proverbs highlights the inferior condition of women in society vividly and clearly. To a certain degree, it is just the reflection of the whole society which has female's discrimination. This paper summers the five aspects which cover the vicious, the changing attitudes, the fragile characteristics, the wisdom differences and the marriage status, to show the discrimination in the English proverbs.

性别歧视作为一种普遍的社会现象会在语言中得到折射。这篇文章从社会中某些偏见，认为女性是“恶毒”的，女性心情易变，女性外表脆弱，女性与男性智慧存在差异以及女性在婚姻中的地位这五个方面向大家展示了英语谚语中的性别歧视。
